'Maze Runner' actor Dexter Darden is engaged to fitness instructor Briah Nelson

The 33-year-old actor - who was previously engaged to 'Too Little Too Late' hitmaker JoJo, 33, for around a year, until they split in November 2022 - popped the question in a sweet backyard proposal

The 'Fright Night' star had a giant heart of roses erected in the garden with "Will you marry me?" in the middle.

Actor Iman Crosson shared a video from the proposal, in which Briah told their guests: "It has been such a ride this past year and a half, in the best way.

"And I'm so grateful, not only for this man, but for all you.

"Because if it wasn't for all of you, I feel like this wouldn't be possible."

Agreeing with his new fiancée, Dexter added: "No, absolutely not.

"Everyone here has played a part in this union, in some way, shape or form, and it's held us up through every trial and tribulation."

In September, at the 'Fright Night' premiere, Briah gushed on Instagram: "When the man you prayed for becomes the man you pray with."

Following Dexter and JoJo's split, the 'Leave (Get Out)' hitmaker and the 'Saved By The Bell' actor unfollowed each other on Instagram.

JoJo posted to her Instagram Story at the time: "And just like that, I took the ring off my left hand and put it on my right."

Over on TikTok, she captioned a video of herself in the bath: "Seriously there is no one size fits all to grieving/ healing/ being p***** tf off."

Alluding to the reason behind the breakup, she also wrote on social media: "People be lying, knowing they lying, knowing you know they lying...And still lie."
