A first win this season in cricket's Super Smash for the Central Hinds

A first win this season in cricket's Super Smash for the Central Hinds

They've seen off fellow cellar-dwellers Canterbury, the Hinds beating the Magicians by eight wickets in Napier.

Set 120 for victory after bowling the visitors out for 119, the hosts cruised to the target in 17 overs, finishing on 120 for 2.

Despite the victory, the Hinds remain last and highly unlikely to make the finals.
