    A potential boost to regional connectivity could be on the way with revelations Air New Zealand's working on a deal with Air Chathams


    The regional airline's chief operating officer Duane Emeny says it's in discussions with our national carrier.

    Air Chathams operates nine planes and serves areas including Whakatane, Kapiti Coast, Whanganui, Wellington, Christchurch, Chatham Islands and Norfolk Island.

    A deal could allow customers to book Air Chathams connecting flights through Air New Zealand.
