Convicted killer Mark Lundy will be subject to a list of conditions when he's released from prison next month

He's spent 23 years in jail for murdering his wife Christine and seven-year-old daughter Amber in their Palmerston North home in August 2000.

But, Lundy's always maintained his innocence.

Barrister Julie-Ann Kincade KC says her client's consistently been assessed as low risk to the community.

She says reports from professionals and corrections feed into that assessment.
