Labour's once again eyeing up major changes to New Zealand's tax system

Leader Chris Hipkins addressed a business audience in Wellington this morning, ahead of next week's Budget.

He made the case for more Government spending on key public services and taking on more debt to pay for it.

And... more taxes.

He says Labour's looking at ensuring that people who are earning significant amounts of money outside the PAYE system are paying their fair share of tax.

Chris Hipkins says Labour's tax plan will be revealed later this year.
