Killer whales are cruising through shallow Auckland waters looking for a tasty treat

Two Orca were spotted metres from shore on Takapuna beach this morning.

Whale conservation group Project Jonah says it's common for them to come close to shore.

It says Orca swim into the bays every couple of months hunting for stingrays.
