    A 20-year old's been charged over an ambulance being stolen - with a police officer and paramedic inside


    Police were called early yesterday to assist an ambulance with an agitated person on Invercargill's Elles Road.

    But it's alleged a man jumped aboard and began driving, travelling about a block before an officer stopped the vehicle and arrested him.

    He faces charges including kidnapping, unlawfully taking a motor vehicle, and resisting police.
