    New Zealand's Tom Saunders is prepared for a gruelling six days of sailing


    The International Laser Class Association men's World Championship is underway in Mexico.

    Saunders is the defending champion after winning the ILCA 7 in Barcelona last year.

    Yachting New Zealand high performance director Ian Stewart says Saunders has had a decent build up, so he's prepared.



    Saunders is sitting in ninth after the first two qualifying races, while fellow Kiwi George Gautrey is fourth equal.
