Dozens of pets and livestock in South Auckland have been killed by roaming dogs - allegedly belonging to a gang pad

Dozens of pets and livestock in South Auckland have been killed by roaming dogs - allegedly belonging to a gang pad

Homeowners in the Totara Park and Alfriston area claim at least 31 animals have been killed in the past six months - and nine more mauled.

They say a pack of three or four dogs are responsible - which belong to a Mongrel Mob-affiliated property.

The gang's dismissing the claims and says no dogs live at the property permanently.

Auckland Council says a new plan's in place to address the attacks - including proactive patrols and humane dog traps.
