Tall Blacks coach Judd Flavell's saluted the tenacity of forward Hyrum Harris in a gritty 81-64 Asia Cup qualifying win over Chinese Taipei in Christchurch

New Zealand struggled shooting the ball - making 36 percent of shots from the field - but had 20 more attempts than their opponents due to their offensive rebounding.

Harris had 13 boards - to go with nine points in 25 minutes on court.

The Tall Blacks next international window is in February.
