Coach Paul Temple is hailing the Wellington Phoenix women's composure after beating Western Sydney Wanderers 3-nil away to move into the A-League's top four

Second half goals to Alyssa Whinham, Alivia Kelly and Emma Main came after Wanderers goalkeeper Sham Khamis was sent off in the 35th minute for a hit on Olivia Fergusson.

Temple says they consolidated a strong start.

The Phoenix visit Adelaide on Sunday.
