    One person is understood to have critical injuries after a collision between a car and a motorbike on the Hawke's Bay Expressway


    The road is closed to southbound traffic at the Taradale Road roundabout and Kennedy Road on-ramp.

    Meanwhile, a southbound lane of the Waikato Expressway is also blocked after a crash before the Tamahere Road off-ramp, south of Hamilton.

    Police say there aren't reports of injuries at this stage.
