An injection of life to a plot that's been empty for 10 years on Lyttelton's main street

Collett's Corner has been empty since quake-damaged buildings were demolished.

It changed hands this year, and the owner's now planning to build two buildings containing 12-apartments and seven ground floor shops - while retaining the port-township's heritage style.

Banks Peninsula City Councillor, Tyrone Fields is particularly pleased with the additional housing.
