Wellington's Stadium's lost its naming partner

Wellington's Stadium's lost its naming partner

Sky has confirmed to Newstalk ZB it's not going to extend its contract for Sky Stadium's naming rights.

The current six year contract concludes at the end of the year.

The stadium, colloquially known as the Cake Tin, was previously known as Westpac Stadium for 20 years.

Sky says it wishes the Stadium Trust success in securing its next naming sponsor.

The company recorded a 1.7 million dollar loss in February.
