Two people are injured, after an assault near Auckland Central's downtown ferry terminal

Authorities received reports of the incident on Quay Street, after 8:15pm.

Police say two victims sustained minor to moderate injuries.

They say they quickly took four suspects into custody who had boarded a nearby bus.

    Charges are being considered.

Hobsonville and Beach Haven ferry services are now back, after being cancelled due to the incident.
