The window was damaged and a note saying 'welcome to the real world' left at the Foreign Minister's door on Monday.
It follows multiple pro-Palestine protests outside his house.
A 29-year-old Sandringham man's appeared at the Auckland District Court for the first time this morning charged with burglary.
It carries up to 10 years in prison.
Judge Claire Ryan says he's allowed to remain on bail as long as he doesn't go within a kilometre of Peters' home, or contacting him or his partner.
