Police are vowing to get justice for Baby Ru - two years on from the Lower Hutt infant's death

Ruthless-Empire Ahipene-Wall died at Hutt Hospital on October 22 in 2023 - having suffered blunt force trauma to his skull just before his second birthday.

Police have been investigating the suspected homicide for two years, with three people listed as persons of interest, including the baby's mother, her partner, and a friend.

On the two year anniversary, Police say they acknowledge people's immense frustration and sadness that the person responsible hasn't been held to account.
