    Dunedin Police have seized 820-kilograms of pounamu - after searches on Monday


    Officers found multiple samples of stolen pounamu - cut and ready for sale.

    A 29-year-old man arrested for obstruction has appeared in court.

    He's been released on bail, and charges relating to the pounamu are being considered.
