    The West Coast is in for a soaking this Christmas, with heavy rain expected all day


    MetService has issued an Orange warning for ranges in Buller, Westland and Grey, plus Canterbury headwaters.

    Parts of Tasman are also under a heavy rain watch.

    The rain band is expected to shift north tonight, affecting the North Island on Boxing Day. 12-25-25 1141
