    Emergency services have battled a blaze near Cape Reinga's Lighthouse in Northland overnight


    Fire and Emergency were called to a 30 square metre scrub fire off a cliff near the base of the lighthouse just after 11.30 last night.

    It's not clear if the lighthouse was damaged.
