Police are asking the public to help them as they hunt suspects in the double homicide of a father and son

Police are asking the public to help them as they hunt suspects in the double homicide of a father and son

They say a house fire in Bucklands Beach last Thursday was deliberately lit - with evidence of an accelerant found.

Police say three people escaped - including the mother, a second son, and a boarder.

Detective Inspector Tofilau Faamanuia Vaaelua says they are determined to find who is responsible.

He's asking for any footage people have from on, or around, Murvale Drive in the days and hours leading up to the fire.
