    Motorists are being warned to expect delays on State Highway 1 at Brynderwyn in Northland, following a serious crash


    A car and truck collided just after 3am.

    Police say traffic controls are in place and people should take an alternative route if possible.

    Emergency services are expected to remain at the scene for some time.

    The cause of the crash is being investigated.
