Arguments in favour of appealing the mosque terrorist's convictions have wrapped up - as an attempt to overturn his guilty pleas reaches the final day

Arguments in favour of appealing the mosque terrorist's convictions have wrapped up - as an attempt to overturn his guilty pleas reaches the final day

Brenton Tarrant was one of multiple witnesses before a panel of three judges in the Court of Appeal in Wellington this week

His lawyers - whose names are suppressed and voices distorted - summarized their arguments yesterday.

They say Tarrant's claims his solitary confinement forced his pleas, could amount to a miscarriage of justice.

His lawyer says he was housed in the most oppressive prison conditions in the country, and his account and affidavit should be beleived.
The Crown begin their submissions today.
