    A man's handed himself in to Police - after a shooting in Auckland's Manurewa last Wednesday


    Police were called to Marumaru Lane around 8.45pm.

    They say the offender went to the victim's house and asked for him, before allegedly shooting him when he came to the door - leaving him with serious injuries.

    Police searched properties in Takanini and Manurewa yesterday - and the man then handed himself into Papakura Police Station not long afterwards.

    The 34-year-old will appear in court today, alongside a 29-year-old woman who is co-accused - after she was arrested last week.
