Golfer Ryan Fox is hoping the hip injury that plagued him last year is in the past ahead of his first tournament of the season at the DP World Tour's Dubai Desert Classic

The issue caused the 37-year-old discomfort for the majority of his debut year as a PGA Tour member, leading him to prematurely end his season in late October.

Fox - who spent his offseason back in New Zealand - feels he's had plenty of time to tend to his hip.

    Fox tees off at 4.55pm.
