    Scottie Scheffler is the hottest of favourites to win a third golf major, after taking a three-shot lead at the 54-hole mark of the PGA Championship


    Scheffler came home with a wet sail to close his third round, with four birdies in his last five holes to card a six-under 65 to lie 11-under overall.

    His nearest challenger is Swede Alex Noren at eight-under.

    Ryan Fox is tied 17th and three-under for the tournament.
