    New Zealand's Lulu Sun has advanced through to the main singles draw of the Cincinnati Tennis Open


    The world number 54 has beaten Italy's Lucia Bronzetti in straight sets in the final round of qualifying.

    It's just the second time Sun has made it to the main draw of a WTA 1000 tournament in her career, after playing in the Dubai event earlier in the year.

    Sun - who will also play doubles in Cincinnati - will face Czech Linda Noskova in the first round.
