    Police evidence is set to be heard today, at the trial of a mother accused of murdering her two children and hiding their bodies in suitcases


    Hakyung Lee's appearing at the High Court in Auckland over her two primary school kids' deaths in 2018.

    Their bodies sat in a storage unit for four years.

    The 45-year-old is putting up a defence of insanity, linked to her husband's death in 2017. .

    So far, the jury's heard from health professionals, friends and family.

    Yesterday, Lee's mother gave evidence, describing her daughter's family unit as happy.

    But she described how Lee's mental state took a turn, following her husband's illness and death.
