Police are continuing to look for alleged offenders, after two serious brawls in Auckland yesterday

Two people are in hospital - one in a serious condition - after a fight involving several people on Wallson Crescent in Wiri about 10 last night.

Meanwhile, three people have been hospitalised, and one person's due in court today, after a mass brawl involving about 50 on Auckland's Karangahape Road about 3.30 yesterday morning.

Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Greaves has told 1 News the outcome of the mass brawl could have been far worse.

He says the assaults were very serious, involving hospitalisation with serious head injuries, and could have been far more tragic.
