One person has been injured in a mistaken drive-by shooting in South Auckland overnight

One person has been injured in a mistaken drive-by shooting in South Auckland overnight

An construction worker says he was eating dinner with flatmates ... when bullets flew into his Manukau house just before 8pm.

He escaped being hit, but his friend was grazed by a bullet.

Our newsroom understands a gang prospect used to live at the house - and it was targeted in a case of mistaken identity in a feud between the Killer Beez and Tribesmen gangs.

Police were also called to a shooting at Papakura's Opaheke a few minutes later.
