    A South Auckland McDonalds has been targeted in an armed robbery overnight


    Police were called to an address on Cavendish Drive in Papatoetoe just before 3am, where three people smashed the store window - and one pointed a firearm at staff.

    A spokesperson says they took cash from the till before fleeing in a vehicle.

    Inquiries are ongoing.
