    The rugby league community is rallying around Tongan player Eli Katoa as he recovers from his brain surgery in Auckland


    The Melbourne Storm second-rower suffered seizures and brain bleeding after taking three head knocks in the build-up - and during - the Pacific Championship test defeat by the Kiwis.

    Samoa's co-captain Jarome Luai says more protection is needed for players.



    The Kiwis take on Samoa in Sunday's Pacific Championship decider in Sydney.
