Convicted Christchurch baby murderer Michael Topp's claims he didn't intentionally cause his daughter grievous bodily harm - have been rejected

Convicted Christchurch baby murderer Michael Topp's claims he didn't intentionally cause his daughter grievous bodily harm - have been rejected

In December 2022 he was found guilty of murder - and jailed for life, with 17 year's minimum non-parole period.

Topp told the Court of Appeal in May the trial was unfair - claiming a Crown expert gave prejudicial, inadmissible evidence.

But the Crown argued evidence against Topp was strong - and the court's dismissed the appeal.
