Canterbury have made two changes to their starting side for Saturday's South Island showdown with Otago to decide the NPC season

Hooker Brodie McAlister and lock Liam Jack are straight swaps for George Bell and Sam Darry - who are heading to Chicago with the All Blacks.

Tahlor Cahill, Gus Brown and James White are the new faces on the bench.

Otago have Josh Timu back at centre after he missed their semi final triumph over Bay of Plenty.

Finn Hurley has overcome an injury scare to take his place on the bench.
