Not one suburb in Auckland has an average property value below half-a-million dollars

Not one suburb in Auckland has an average property value below half-a-million dollars

That's according to new OneRoof research conducted with its data partner Valocity, looking at house price inflation from January 2020 to January this year.

Overall, the number of suburbs nationwide with an average house value of less than 500-thousand has dropped from 975 to 488 in that time.

OneRoof Editor Owen Vaughan says in Auckland, only a handful have an average value of less than one-million dollars.

He says most of those are on the fringes of the city - so you're looking at big commutes for areas that have very few amenities.
