    Three people are in hospital after a two vehicle crash in the Christchurch suburb of New Brighton.

    Three people are in hospital after a two vehicle crash in the Christchurch suburb of New Brighton.


    Emergency crews were called to the corner of Keyes Road and Pratt Street around 7.15 last night

    Occupants had to be cut out of one of the vehicles - one with moderate injuries, and two serious.

    The road was closed for more than two hours.

    Meanwhile, one person's in a moderate condition in Southland Hospital following an early morning fire in Invercargill.

    Emergency services were called to the blaze on Mary Street just before 2.30am.
