A Christchurch sports director has pleaded guilty to falsifying documents - to steal more than 180-thousand dollars in grants for sports gear

Open Justice reports, Mark Cini, created 26 documents through his company - Action Indoor Sports Centre Hornby - then transferred the grants to his personal account.

The 59-year-old has pleaded guilty today to forgery, theft by a person in a special relationship and dishonest use of a document.
