    Police have revealed a woman fatally shot by police in Christchurch on Wednesday - was 53-year-old Te Arohanui Pohio


    She was fatally shot in Bryndwr - as she advanced on Police with a knife grabbed from a man Police had already shot and injured.

    The 47-year-old man is in hospital in a critical but stable condition.

    Multiple investigations into the circumstances, the scene and the shooting - are in train.
