    A rare NPC feat will be celebrated at Rangiora this afternoon with hooker Ben Funnell to bring up 100 games for Canterbury

    He's been promoted from outside the squad to start the match against Manawatu - with one-test All Black Brodie McAlister providing cover from the bench.

    Funnell will join Mitch Drummond as Canterbury's only other centurion since Andrew Mehrtens reached the milestone in 2004.
