Opening batter Devon Conway has been dropped from the Black Caps' playing XI for tomorrow night's first T20 against England in Christchurch

Opening batter Devon Conway has been dropped from the Black Caps' playing XI for tomorrow night's first T20 against England in Christchurch

Conway's form struggles have seen his spot at the top of the order usurped by newcomer Tim Robinson, to accommodate Rachin Ravindra's return at No 3.

Zak Foulkes and Bevon Jacobs are the other squad members to miss out, as captain Mitchell Santner also makes his comeback.

Saturday's series opener is also sold out, despite clashing with Canterbury's NPC semifinal against Hawke's Bay - which hasn't.

Former New Zealand netball international Cat Tuivaiti expects the Silver Ferns' mental toughness to be tested in tonight's opening Constellation Cup clash with Australia in Melbourne.

New Zealand are looking to retain the Cup without coach Dame Noeline Taurua, who's been controversially stood down.
