Fullback Zarn Sullivan has earned a recall to the Blues run-on side for their semi-final against the Crusaders on Friday night

Fullback Zarn Sullivan has earned a recall to the Blues run-on side for their semi-final against the Crusaders on Friday night

Sullivan - who battled a foot injury earlier in the season - last played a month ago against the Fijian Drua in Suva.

He replaces Corey Evans who misses the 23 altogether.

Coach Vern Cotter says the left boot of Sullivan could be vital in Christchurch.

The Crusaders will be without Tamaiti Williams who suffered an ankle injury against the Reds, with George Bower starting in his place.

All Black trio Luke Jacobson, Wallace Sititi and Quinn Tupaea return to the Chiefs' run-on side for their Super Rugby semi-final against the unchanged Brumbies in Hamilton.

But the hosts will be without flanker Simon Parker following his ankle injury last week.
