    A man will appear in the Hamilton District Court today, over the shooting of a police officer


    The officer suffered injuries to his arm and shoulder on Friday, when he was conducting a routine traffic stop.

    A 23-year-old man has been charged with aggravated wounding, unlawful possession of a firearm, and unlawfully taking a car.

    The officer remains in a stable condition.
