Lengthy jail terms for a Cambridge couple - who between them committed more than 100 child sex offences

Lengthy jail terms for a Cambridge couple - who between them committed more than 100 child sex offences

Laken Rose has been handed a 19 years and five months sentence and Andrew Williams, 23 years and five months, at the High Court in Rotorua today.

The long list of charges against the pair included sexually violating young girls, indecently assaulting children under 12 and inducing young people to commit sexual acts.

Detective Sergeant Darryl Brazier says the offending had a horrendous impact on victims and families -- but he hopes the sentencing provides a small measure of comfort.
