    A 53-year-old man will appear in Hamilton District Court today following an assault


    Police were called for help by an ambulance crew on Hukanui Road in Chartwell yesterday afternoon.

    Police say the man has been charged with wounding, with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

    Two people ended up in hospital.
