Police are investigating a sudden death of a 62-year-old man in Hamilton

Acting Detective Inspector Andrew Saunders says officers were called to a Cook Street address about 5.30pm yesterday where the man was found dead.

He says an altercation had taken place at the property prior to the death.

Saunders says at this stage the death is being treated as unexplained.
