    King Cobra gang members have gathered in Mangere to farewell a man shot by police in Wellington


    Sam Fakalago was shot in Newlands last Tuesday, after holing up in a house with a woman and a young child.

    It's understood he was threatening the woman.

    A procession of riders escorted a red van carrying his body through Mangere.

    Fakalago was an associate of the gang but was made a full member posthumously.
