A Porirua man's been sentenced for defrauding his boss while on home detention, for defrauding his previous workplaces

A Porirua man's been sentenced for defrauding his boss while on home detention, for defrauding his previous workplaces

Andrew Ross was granted another home detention sentence in the Wellington District Court.

The 43-year-old was working from home, claiming it was to spend time with his daughter who had been bullied, when in reality he legally had to - as he was on home detention.

The court heard the man was defrauding his current business while confined to his own home - and had sent invoices to clients, replacing the company's bank account details with his own.
