Wellington Phoenix skipper CJ Bott returns to the Football Ferns squad for two upcoming football friendlies against the Matildas across the Tasman

The experienced defender's been included in the 24-woman squad for the matches in Gosford on November 28 and Adelaide on December 2nd.

Bott was a late withdrawal from the squad that travelled to Mexico and the United States last month after suffering a concussion at a club training session.

Among the six changes is the return of goalkeeper Anna Leat and midfield duo Betsy Hassett and Olivia Chance.

Among those not named to face Australia are veteran Katie Bowen and Phoenix defender Mackenzie Barry.
