    A man has been arrested and charged following unexplained injuries to a baby in the Wellington region's Hutt Valley


    Police were called to an address in Avalon at around 8am yesterday, where a baby was found with serious injuries - and had allegedly been intentionally injured.

    A 30-year-old man is due reappear in Hutt Valley District Court on in less than two weeks - charged with four counts of injures with intent to injure.

    Police want to speak with anyone with information, or who witnessed unusual behaviour.
