    Belief the issues at the Wellington Phoenix run deeper than just departed coach Giancarlo Italiano


    The Australian sensationally quit in the wake of the 5-nil home loss to Auckland FC.

    But former All Whites goalkeeper Jacob Spoonley says while a new manager will bring energy the players do need to take some responsibility.



    The Phoenix are likely to front media early this week - their next game is against Sydney FC a week today.
